We Don’t Have Money, You Are Better Than Us – Actress Uche Ebere Tells Those Kidnapping Colleagues

 Nollywood actress Uche Ebere has taken to her social media page to plead with the kidnappers who have her fellow colleagues hostage since Friday, 29th August.

According to the actress, actresses and actors don’t live in luxury as many people perceive. She disclosed that most people are more financially stable than most actors and actresses.

People that are entertaining to put food on the table, how much do we have, nothing ooo, this is the height of it. Kidnapping people, you’re better off. Please God who delivered Daniel from Lion’s den, please deliver them from those demons in Jesus’ Mighty name. Ameeeennnnnnn”, she wrote on her page.

In other news, the Director of Communications for the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Monalisa Chinda has released a statement on behalf of AGN announcing the abduction of the actors.

In the statement by Monalisa Chinda, she disclosed that the family members of these kidnapped actors confirmed that they did not return home from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu state.

“The two members were suspected of having been kidnapped, which has increased fear amongst members about the safety of actors filming in the country.

“Because of this sad development, the National President of the Guild, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has instructed all Actors to avoid going to the outskirt of cities to film except full security cover is provided to ensure their safety,” the statement read.
